Hike at New Germany Nature Reserve. Sign-posted right, turn from Otto Volek Road into Mountain Ridge Road, left at the top into Gilbert and straight to the end. Wild birds and game. Contact David on 072 615 0559.
Saturday 7 March Marianhill Monastery
Hike Mariannhill Monastery, a wonderfully informative walk around this historic area. Meet at the monastery for a walk around the monastery and grounds. Meet at 1.45pm in the car park. It will cost R20 per person – donation to Marianhill.

Hike at Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. Hike down to stream and to the base of Kloof Falls and back. Meet at 2pm at Kloof Falls picnic site, Kloof Falls Drive, Kloof. Reserve entrance is R20. Contact Lawson on 083 716 2086.
