It is with deepest regret that the club announces the passing of Gary Lindsay. Lindsay passed away on Tuesday, 3 March. He was a life member of the New Germany Bowling Club, for which he had been the greens keeper for 29 years. His ‘joie de vivre’ (joyous spirit) will be greatly missed.
Westville BC
There will be no play at the club this week as the SA Inter-districts tournaments for men and women are in progress. The women’s B Section (where Port Natal are drawn) are playing at Westville BC on Wednesday, and the men’s B Section on Thursday, and the A Section (including Port Natal) on Friday morning only. Other venues being used are Northlands, Stella Park and Durban, which is the headquarters for the tournament.
