Palmiet Nature Reserve
Meet at the Palmiet Nature Reserve on Sunday, 4 October at 5pm for a ‘Bat ‘n Braai’ evening with local expert, Helen Bruigom. This interesting experience will include a bring-your-own braai, the use of bat detectors and an informative slide presentation in the hall.
Meet at the river braai site in the Palmiet Reserve, Old New Germany Road, Westville, and learn all about the importance of bats. All ages welcome.

Springside Nature Reserve
Hillcrest Conservancy is hosting a guided walk on Wednesday, 14 October in Springside Nature Reserve, Hillcrest at 7.30 am. Birding led by Derek Spencer and/or other knowledgeable birders, or follow the keen birders at your own pace to enjoy all that Springside Nature Reserve has to offer.
Easy walks on well-maintained paths. Everyone is welcome. Tea/coffee served in the resource centre after the walks.
