Walk for a good cause
Be part of the Summer Nite Run/Walk and raise funds to provide a better service to combat and prevent crime in the Winston Park area.
THE Winston Park Gaurdians will be hosting a Summer Nite Run/Walk on Friday, 26 February which starts at 6.30pm at Gillitts Squash Club.
Adults’ pre-paid entry fees are R80 for 10km and R60 for 5km, adult pre-paid bulk entries are R60 for 10 and R40 for 5km, U16 pre-paid and late entries, R40 for 10km and R30 for 5km.
Pre-entries close on Thursday, 25 February. Adult race day entries cost R20 extra. A school with the most pre-entries could win R2 500 worth of A4 paper from Acutts.
There will be water tables on both routes, a deejay and entertainment after the race, food and drinks will be on sale and there will be a kiddies’ zone.
For pre-entries, visit www.roag.co.za, Accutts Hillcrets (Lillies Quarter) or GetFit Fitness Centre (Gillitts Centre) on Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and Saturday from 8am to 12pm.
This is a fundraising initiative by the Winston Park Gaurdians to raise funds to purchase essential items and provide a better service to combat and prevent crime in the Winston Park area.
