Golden surprise at football bash

The older generation also got a chance to get back onto the field in the dad's match.

SARNIA Primary School held an annual soccer day on Saturday to unite families.

The fun family soccer tournament consisted of a senior boys’ team, junior boys’ team, a senior girls’ team, a junior girls’ team and a dad’s team who played on the new multi-purpose Astro Turf.

There was also food on sale and merriment when the Golden Arrows assistant coach, Mandla Mcikazi and National U23 keeper and Lamontville’s Golden Arrow’s keeper, Nkosi Gumede and Ricardo Goss arrived at the tournament.

 

 

There was much excitement when the boys took penalties against the Golden Arrow’s keepers.
