Curro players own the netball court
Curro Hillcrest's netball teams have raked in consecutive wins since the beginning of the season and look to do so again at the inter-provincial tourney this April.

NETBALL at Curro Hillcrest is leaping in bounds with numerous learners being selected to represent KwaZulu-Natal Midlands and KwaZulu-Natal at the Inter-Provincial Action Netball Tours in Edenvale.
Curro has 11 representatives that will be competing in the U14, U15, U16, U17 and U17 mixed age group categories.
For the first time in the history of the school, a Grade 11 boy, Chad Millard, will also be participating in the U17 mixed category.
Curro’s 1st team netball had a competitive start to the season with the Gelofte Night Series and finished third in its pool out of 10 teams.
The team continued to practice hard and competed in an indoor league in Pietermaritzburg.
The team showed great form and acquired the status of being top of the log after they competed against and beat Varsity College’s A-team and the UKZN A teams during the current season.
The girls also competed in the Curro Regionals Tournament in Newcastle and the U15 and U18 teams were victorious and undefeated in both age groups.
The U18 girls scored 121 goals in six games and only had 10 goals scored against them.
“Treverton College Festival Tour is our 1st team netball tour for 2018 and everyone is excited at the opportunity of honing their skills and we are all looking forward to coming home with great results. The girls are ready for the 2018 outdoor season, bring it on,” said Warren Perry, the netball coach and sports administrator at Curro Hillcrest.
