On Sunday, 24 June, it held its first official open tournament in 25 years with 60 players from Durban and surrounding areas.

The clubhouse has undergone a facelift and all six courts were newly resurfaced.

In the past, the club was purely a social one but now has three teams in the mixed league and two each in the men’s and women’s leagues as well as two teams in the mid-week women’s league.
