Kearsney players shine on the hockey field

Kearsney had three players selected for national teams following the Inter Provincial Tournament

KEARSNEY had three players selected for national teams following the Inter Provincial Tournament (IPT) held at Maritzburg College at the start of the holidays.

Steven Conway played for the SA U18A team against Australia. They lost the three-match series 0-1, having drawn two games.

Kearsney’s 1st X1 captain Guy Morgan has been selected for the SA U18 Fives team which is playing the African Qualifiers in Algiers starting this week, from July 18-26.

He captained the KZN Coastals hockey team at the IPTs.

His team mates include Kearsney’s Liam Maguire, Steven Conway and Ben Proctor.

Guy and Ben Proctor were selected for the SA U18B tournament team.
