Athletes race for charity
Dozens of runners and cyclists made their way to Giba Gorge recently to take part in one of the Kloof SPCA's annual fund-raisers.
TRAIL runners and mountain bikers kitted up for the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s annual Ride or Run 2 Care trail run and cycle at the Giba Gorge Mountain Bike Park recently.
The event was enjoyed by each participant who cycled and ran through the park on the crisp winter morning, that later turned into a lovely sunny day. The fun-filled event was held to raise much-needed funds for the local non-profit organisation.
“Thank you to everyone who supported our wonderful morning and thank you to Giba Gorge, as always, for allowing us all to enjoy a little piece of your outdoor paradise,” said the organisation’s marketing and fund-raising officer, Brigitte Ferguson.
