Madiba Day celebrated at Open Door

Various companies in the Highway area did their bit for local NPO, the Open Door Crisis Care Centre, on 18 July.

The Open Door Crisis Care Centre was absolutely blessed and privileged to have many corporate companies go through and show their support on Mandela Day.

“Our thanks and appreciation to Continental Compounders, NPC, Full Circle, Rentokil , Bunny Hop and Cowies Hill Lions Club for their contribution,” said Thora Mansfield, director of the Open Door Crisis Centre.

The Centre was abuzz with activity as employees from various companies did their bit to help out on the special day. “At The Open Door Crisis Care Centre we are dedicated to making changes in many lives around us. We have many programmes to support a wide variety of people in their time of need. We don’t judge anyone by their age, race, sex, religion, background or lifestyle. We are truly an open door to anyone who wants to step through it and change their life for the better,” said Thora.

To make a donation to the Centre contact 031 709 2679 or visit its premises at 7 Windsor Road in Pinetown.
