Minnie jumps for glory
Minnie Ngubane is Pinetown Girls' High School SPAR Star of the Month.
GRADE 9 pupils at PINETOWN Girls’ High School Minnie Ngubane was chosen as the school SPAR Star of the month.
Minnie who started playing netball in Grade 2 said she loves the sport as it is not a contact sport and it rules teaches them discipline.
She has recently won a gold medal at the first league of the Action netball competition and silver medal in the second league.
Minnie plays for the SPAR ladies netball team and she is also the school U15A captain.
She plays win attack, centre and goal attack position.
“But in school I play goal attack in most games.
“I am inspired by the national team plays, Melissa Myburgh, Adele Niemand and Bongi Msomi,” she said.
Minnie added that she wants to take up sport management as a career when she completes matric.
