World champ speaker visits Durban
He brings to the podium a unique mix of talent and life experience that have shaped his philosophy and viewpoint of the world.
TOASTMASTERS world champion of public speaking, Lance Miller, is visiting Durban and will be at the Gateway Hotel from 6.30pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday, 7 October to present a talk on ‘Improving lives in South Africa by inspiring people to become leaders’.
Lance brings to the podium a unique mix of talent and life experience that have shaped his philosophy and viewpoint of the world. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and has held several senior positions as well as serving on the 1974 Los Angeles Olympic organising committee.
Lance has vast experience in the areas of human rights and environmentalism, serving on the International Foundation of Human Rights Tolerance, Way to Happiness Foundation and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce.
He has delivered over 300 public addresses at civic forums and official gatherings on the importance of fundamental human rights as a foundation to civilisation, peace and economic prosperity.
Most recently, he served as president of Diesel TEK, Inc, an environmental technology company that is providing new, cost-effective solutions to the diesel industry to reduce diesel exhaust emissions and greenhouse gases while increasing engine performance, fuel mileage and engine life.
Lance Miller is donating his time. The cost of admission will be R160 per person to cover the venue and dinner.
