Choirs will sing your blues away
The Drakensberg Boys' Choir and the Kearsney College Choir are set to take the Durban stage.
IT will be an unforgettable audible fest of beautiful voices when arguably two of the best choirs in South Africa, The Drakensberg Boys’ Choir and the Kearsney College Choir, perform on Saturday, 7 September at 7pm at the Durban City Hall
Both choirs have won titles at the World Choir Games in previous years, so the evening promises to be spectacular.
The Kearsney College choir has built a large international following through its signature blend of indigenous, pop and classical music.
It has won 15 gold and seven silver medals at the World Choir Games since 2000; represented Africa at the Rhythms of One World Music Festival at the United Nations European Headquarters in Geneva; and been awarded the Prize of the City of Vienna.

In 2018, the Drakensberg Boys Choir competed at the 10th World Choir Games, held in Tshwane, South Africa.
They won the Champions’ Title for ‘Scenic Pop’, with one of the highest scores in the entire competition.
After their first competitive competition, the Drakensberg Boys Choir has now been placed as the highest ranking Boys’ Choir in the world, on the Interkultur World Ranking List.
