Katlehong mother pleads for help to find missing 13-year-old son

Teboho Mofokeng was last seen on July 14 wearing part of his old school uniform; police urge anyone with information to come forward.

Teboho Mofokeng, a 13-year-old boy from 1314 Moleleki Section, Katlehong, is missing.

His desperate mother, Masechaba Mofokeng, reported him missing at the Katlehong SAPS, stating that he had not been seen since 10:00 on July 14.

According to Constable Sienkosi Mtwa, the mother told the police that Teboho was last seen on Friday, July 14, 2025, at 10:00 and has not been seen since.

He was last seen wearing part of the Lungisani Primary School uniform – a black tracksuit, a blue jacket and black shoes.

The boy was in Grade Five last year (2024) but dropped out and began mixing with peers suspected of using drugs.

The Katlehong SAPS urge anyone who has seen him or knows his whereabouts to call the station on 011 617 3600, Masechaba on 062 677 1937 or dial 08600 10111.
