Famsa needs donations for its charity shop
The organisation is going through a tough financial situation and this is part of its fund-raising initiatives

Do you have old and unused items you no longer want in your home but don’t know what to do with them?
Well, you can donate them to Families South Africa’s (Famsa) charity shop.
“The shop is aimed at helping the organisation to fulfill its mandate of supporting individuals, families, organisations, communities and society in restoring and sustaining functional relationships,” said Cindy Sithole, Famsa’s PR and fund-raising officer.
“We accept all kinds of items including clothing, bedding, linen, curtains, furniture and appliances.”
Sithole said the charity shop is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 3.30pm at their offices at 15 Pascoe Avenue.
“The organisation is going through a tough financial situation and this is part of our fund-raising initiatives to help sustain it,” said Sithole.
