Birch Acres SCF elects new committee
The committee members were elected during a meeting held at the NG Kerk on the corner of Maraboe Road and Grasuil Street, Birch Acres, on Wednesday evening.
Birch Acres Sector Crime Forum (SCF) elected a new committee during a meeting in Birch Acres on Wednesday evening.
Sgt Johanna Madiga, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, said committee members volunteered.
“The members took an oath that they would volunteer their time and services to help improve the partnership between the SCF, Community Police Forum (CPF) and police,” said Madiga.
“Sector manager Const Stella Mabila will overlook the forum.”
Madiga said although the members had been elected and filled positions, they were yet to be inducted and informed of their duties.
The committee members are Nonkanyiso Naka (secretary), Mildred Moagi (deputy secretary), Mapule Mphogo (treasurer), Valie Richer (PRO), Pravash Parsap and Sifiso Mtshali.
