Organisation wishes the matric class of 2019 well
They must keep in mind that they are the future of this country
With the matric examinations about to commence, the Faith Based Organisation has urged all parents and the community at large to give those who will be writing their final examination a chance and space to focus on their exams.
The chairperson of this non-profit organisation, Bishop Michael Mtshali, also called for parents and the community to support the matriculants during this tough period.
“First of all, we would like to wish all the matric learners who will be writing their final examination the best of luck.
“We appeal to parents to support their children during this tough time.
“We are aware of some parents giving their children too much chores, which gives learners less time to revise and work on their studies. We are asking parents to ease on the workload,” said Mtshali.
“We want to remind the matriculants that writing a final exam means they are changing and taking their lives to another level.
“They must keep in mind that they are the future of this country and the future begins now, with this exam.
“They are the hope of this township as it is infested with crime, teenage pregnancies, alcohol and drugs abuse. We wish that they do better so they may one day come back and change the mindset of other young people,” said Mtshali.
“We are already holding all those who will be writing in prayer. We are praying for the exams to go smoothly until the final day.
“We are also praying against the spirit that preys on our children, especially those who will not pass their matric.
“We are aware that some would want counselling while some would attempt to take their own lives and therefore we would like to call on all religious groups to unite in prayer and pray for these children,” said Mtshali.
