Police are still searching for missing woman
Majuda said cases of kidnapping and missing persons are escalating
The search for a missing woman who was last seen on August 20, continues.
According to the Ivory Park police, the missing woman, Sarah Masekhala Mashishi, 41, was last seen on August 20 in Ebony Park next to a hardware store where she was employed.
Detective Sergeant Sandile Majuda of Ivory Park police said they were working around the clock to find answers and appealed to the general public to assist them in their search for answers.
“At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a navy blue top. She is light in complexion.
“We request anyone with information to contact us on 072-479-3316, or Jacob Mashishi on 082-646-5380,” appealed Majuda.
Majuda said cases of kidnapping and missing persons are escalating and urged the community to work with the police to curb this scourge.
“In some cases you find that the missing people are either visiting their girlfriends or boyfriends and at times you find that some have really been kidnapped and even found murdered,” he argued.
