Tembisa talent needed for 28 new feature films

Plans are to shoot all films and drama series around Tembisa and Midrand.

A local small film and productions company based in Ebony Park is looking for local talent and some funding to complete their project.

Speaking to The Tembisan, the production’s producer, Bondi Moyo, said their plan is to produce over 10 feature films and drama series which would be aired on some of the country’s leading television stations.

“We are an organisation that deals with films and videography. We have vast experience in this field and our aim is to get more local (Tembisa) people, especially the youth to enter into this space and become professional actors and actresses.

“We want to mould and groom local talent,” he opened up.

“We are currently working on a plan to produce 28 feature films and five drama series, and we want to use local talent. But our challenge is funding. We do not have the funds required to be able to complete the task at hand.

“It is for this reason that we would like to appeal to local businesses and good Samaritans to come to the rescue and help us realise our dream,” appealed Moyo.

He continued, “The plan is to encourage local people to come forward with their stories to be told in films and drama series. We plan to shoot all our films and drama series around Tembisa and Midrand.”
