Tembisa Child Welfare looking for two children’s biological fathers

Contact the society if you have any information

Tembisa Child anf Family Welfare Society is looking for the biological father of Lwandile Khanyosani Kuzwayo.

According to the society, the three-year-old boy was brought to the centre after his mother died.

“The child was reported to the Tembisa Child and Family Welfare Society by community health-care workers based at Esangweni Clinic in July. It was reported that the mother, Bandile Kuzwayo, had just been admitted at Tembisa Hospital and the child was left with a friend of the mother.

Unfortunately, the mother died in hospital, leaving the child with the friend,” explained the centre’s social worker, Mampono Chipu.

She said the child was then temporarily placed in their care.

“The aunt to the mother of the child from KwaZulu-Natal, came forward and reported that she was too old to look after the child. Currently, there is no one willing to look after the child from the maternal family.

“We are, therefore, pleading with the community to help us track the child’s father, who is only known as Thabang, originally from Mozambique,” appealed Chipu.

In a separate matter, Chipu said they are also looking for the biological father of Melokuhle Ndlovu, who was also placed in their care after the child’s mother abandoned her.

“In this case the mother abandoned her with her neighbour and never returned. The mother is Phumelele Ngubane and the father is Muzokhanyayo Sithembiso Ndlovu, originally from Nkandla in KwaZulu-Natal.Please contact us on 081 702 6905 with any information that may lead to us finding these children’s biological fathers.”
