RoyalHouse Youth Seminar a success
Deputy minister in the Presidency, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize in Tembisa.
Pastor Thami Dlalisa and Vuyolethu Sibiya delivered another successful youth seminar for schools in Tembisa at RoyalHouse International Church in Entshonalanga Section on October 4.
The RoyalHouse International Church was buzzing with learners from various schools, government dignitaries and several executives from the private sector.
The seminar was arranged by Sibiya, the president and founder of Kuzondlula Motivational Tour, in partnership with Dlalisa, the leader of Royalhouse International Church.
The seminar addressed various careers, study skills, post-matric learning opportunities and pathways, including FET and TVET career paths, in addition to the opportunities and challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
The deputy speaker in the National Assembly, honorable Lesecha Tsenoli, gave the keynote address on learning methods and high performance. His lecture was aimed at equipping learners to prepare better for the upcoming 2019 exams. He encouraged the learners to study and prepare well. He stressed the importance of self-discipline in order to achieve in life.
“The deputy minister in the Presidency, Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize, also gave several examples of youth leaders like Hector Pieterson and others internationally who made a mark on education rights and liberties globally.
“He urged all learners to prepare, work hard and refuse to settle for less in life. Advocate Modise Koetle, head of the Youth Desk in Ekurhuleni’s mayoral office, spoke about the bursary fund that is available for the learners in the Ekurhuleni area. He gave a motivational talk about his own disadvantaged background and how he managed to work hard, focus and defer pleasure and enjoyment in order to achieve his goals,” said Dlalisa.
“MSC College also issued bursaries to students to do computer studies at their Kempton Park and Midrand campuses. Miss Congeniality 2019 Kimberly Malope encouraged the youth to work hard, believe in themselves and not to take no for an answer,” said Sibiya.
Sibiya promised that he would continue to partner with the government, progressive churches like Royalhouse International Church and other private sector entities to bring this seminar to Tembisa each year.
