Seven injured in late night accident on the R25

Seven people were injured in a late night accident on Saturday on the R25 in the direction of Pomona.

Shawn Herbst of Netcare 911 said the collision took place around 10.30pm.

Reports from the scene indicatd two cars were involved. Medics assessed the scene and found that seven people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.

All the patients were treated on scene and transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

All the necessary authorities were on scene.
