The family event will cater for young and old alike.
Members of the public are invited to join the A21 Campaign’s Walk for Freedom on October 19 for a 5km silent walk against human trafficking.
Build-up and registration starts at 8am and the walk will commence at 9am at Avion Park on Highveld Road.
The global initiative, which is also a fund-raising drive, is being hosted by A21, a non-profit organisation that works to abolish human trafficking and slavery.

The event will entail single-file lines of people dressed in black to put across the message that slavery still exists but that communities have the power to change this.
Participants will hold picket signs and pass out flyers to educate the people of Kempton Park about human trafficking.
The family event will cater for young and old alike.
Through the Walk For Freedom, A21’s goal is to generate conversations that lead to improvements in global aftercare efforts for victims of human trafficking and the prosecution of human traffickers worldwide.
The organisation is calling on Kemptonians as well as individuals from outside the city to join them in making a change.
