Youth invited to event to learn about money

Peter Baladakis of the AJP Group will be the guest speaker.

An event to promote financial education among the youth will be hosted at Kempton Park Civic Centre on November 1.

The event is hosted by the Big R Solutions in collaboration with The Big R Foundation, founded by Saubrey Tshabalala.

“The approach we adopt is to encourage people to be entrepreneurs, being mindful of the fact that the fourth Industrial Revolution demands of the new generation of entrepreneurs, especially black entrepreneurs, to be highly innovative.

Tshabalala, a debt councillor among many others things, will be one of the speakers. He will be joined by Dr Daleen Smal (economist), Dr Taddy Blecher (social entrepreneur and Actuary by profession), Richard Bryanston (Virgin Group), Frank Casino (owner of a music business) and Cedric Anthony Fourie (aka Lehasa Maphosa for Skeem Saam).

Peter Baladakis of the AJP Group will be the guest speaker.

The event will run from 9am to 5pm. To RSVP, call Wendy Mathebula on 011 391 3226. Attendance is free but no guests who did not book will be allowed in.
