Cell C reaches out to Max Informal Settlement residents

Cell C is spreading smiles by encouraging acts of kindness to the settlers.

Members of Cell C’s repairs department donated much-needed essentials, including food, clothing and blankets, to the fire victims of Max informal settlement.

Upon learning about this disaster, members joined forces to collect resources to help these families rebuild their lives.

“Although these donations will go a long way to helping these families, much still needs to be done. They lost most, if not all, their belongings in the fire and are in desperate need of the basics,” says Boni Dlamini, Cell C’s senior manager for CSI and transformation.

“We’re glad we could help and we call on colleagues, peers and all South Africans to help in any way they can,” she says.
