Karabo Malete is a young entrepreneur from Tembisa, Phomolong section, who has developed an online ticketing system and app called Karamale.

Malete said Karamale is not just an online ticketing system, but also a search engine for events. They rank events according to their performances.
“Karamale is an evolving online system and is user friendly. The app can be downloaded from Play Store,” said Malete.
Malate added that what sets Karamale apart is that it gives complete management of an event from a handheld device.
“Ticket scanner downloaded on a mobile phone (Kscanner) can scan tickets to avoid duplication of tickets through Karamale’s unique QR bar codes, which are generated by the system,” said Malete.
“Our clients includes Colour Frenzy, Qabula Saturdays (QS), Thabo Fashion Empire (TFE), Sello Sa Tlou Theatre Group and MK NPC,” added Malete.
Malete also said Karamale takes pride in the system and what it offers to the event organisers and to the customers that buy the end product.
“In this evergrowing industry and keeping up with the technological generation, Karamale is relevant for all types of events because it can be used all hours of the day,” said Malete.
