Refined queens crowned over the weekend

Ivory Park Refined beauty pageant finale took place over the weekend.

Nketli Sebelebele was crowned Miss Ivory Park Refined 2019/2020 as the pageant hosted its third annual finale at Ivory Park North Hall on Saturday.

The pageant has been engaged in community activities throughout the year. The finalists had to “touch the community they serve”, as its slogan goes. The judges were Mrs Africa 2020 Thando Lamula-Shirinda, Miss Africa Elite Naledi Ramaboe, Miss Teen World Charmaine Rasoeu and Mandla Nkuna.

Miss Teen Ivory Park Refined 2019/2020 is Tidimalo Ndou, first princess is Antoinette Uyanda Majola and second princess Amukelani Ngobeni.

The winners of the senior pageant are Miss Ivory Park Refined 2019/2020 Nketli Sebelebele, first princess Noluthando Mathonsi and second princess Belinda Kabe.

Co-founder Valencia Mathabela said they would like to thank their sponsors, Noni Indlovukazi, Bongani Sibisi, the photographers and the judges.

“The queen will be getting a MSC business college (Boulders branch) bursary to study a course of her choice, one-year brand ambassador contract from Omang Brand by Cosy Manaka, and one-year make-up, nails and spa treatments from Indlovukazi Beauty Spa. All winners received a copy of Bongani Sibisi’s book The Power of Mind,” said Mathabela.

Genolia Madonsela, pageant co-founder, said the pageant has grown so much compared to the previous years and they hope it reaches national recognition status.

“The event proceeded as planned. We are looking to have more sponsors next year to enable us to grow and reach our full potential.

“We salute all support we had from day one and we still saying thanks to everyone who showed up and supported us,” said Madonsela.
