Sprinkle a bit of happiness on a child this festive season
Help spread joy by making toy donations to Sunshine Association.
For the past 10 years, Gerhard Beukes from Birchleigh, has supported the Sunshine Association, a home for children with disabilities in Elsburg, Germiston.
And this year is no different with him collecting soft toys, old or new, for the home.
The Sunshine Association is a dynamic, progressive and innovative non-profit organisation in the field of intellectual disability, offering diverse services at many levels. All services offered by the organisation are a direct response to the needs identified in the centre.
Beukes said all children need love, encouragement and support, and for children with disabilities, such positive reinforcement can help ensure they emerge with a strong sense of self-worth, confidence and the determination to keep going, even when things are tough.
