Christian Chillas event offers good clean fun
Christians relax without the need for substances.
Gathering of the Saints (GOTS) hosted Christian Chillas at The Seek in Leboeng Section, Tembisa, on November 30.
The event aimed to bring people of faith together under one roof to chill, socialise and have fun without intoxicating substances.
GOTS hosts a number of events annually which are aimed at unifying the Christian community and encouraging a relationship with Christ.
Mpho Ramalolo from Media and Sound said: “GOTS also creates an opportunity to showcase talent. We normally have three major events annually, Returning to the First Love in February, the Fitness Culture in June and Christian Chillas in November.
“The event was a great success as we had a turnout of about 110 people who had fun, learned, socialised, enjoyed good food and showcased what they do. Our main speaker spoke about finding your purpose and staying away from destructive things that prevent you from fulfilling your purpose.
“Our events include music, performance, live band, poetry, dance, talk shows and many more, depending on the event we are having. We might possibly have a Road Trip 4 Christ #Pray4SafetyInSaRoads this December. Otherwise, our next annual event will be next year February,” said Ramalolo.
