Monument Road accident leaves one dead, children injured
Two minors were taken to hospital for further care and treatment.
An accident on the corner of Monument Road and the R23 on Monday evening left one person dead and two children injured.
The police arrived on the scene and found two cars were involved in a collision.
Paramedics assessed the occupants in one of the cars and found one person sustained fatal injuries. Two minors were taken to hospital.
The necessary authorities were on the scene and will investigate the accident.
“We can confirm that police are currently investigating a case of culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving,” said Sgt Dipuo Ditshego, Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson.
