Moses brings the Word of God to Kempton Park

A multi-lingual street preacher called Moses came to Kempton Park to deliver the Word of God

In November, Kempton Express was paid a visit by an anointed servant of God who said he was dubbed ‘Moses’ in his pursuit to share the Lord’s Word on the streets of many cities.

Formally known as Michael Durelle, Moses said he had come to Kempton Park after the winter season to see what the streets look like in its blossoming prime.

“The people here are so friendly and they can sniff you out as a newbie. I’m originally from Benoni, but I left 20-odd years ago to visit cities like Springs, Boksburg and Brakpan, to name a few, so I may spread the Word,” said Moses.

He says he is an evangelist who advertises the love of the Lord.

“I prophesise the love of God and I often find that people deeply appreciate it.

“I also sell wooden crafts and signs with biblical messages as a means to make an honest living. I’m also very happy to do handyman jobs, if people are willing to trust and invite me into their homes.

“People often like me, as I speak English, Afrikaans and Zulu. The public likes it when I share the Word of God, spread love and good thoughts in their language,” Moses said.

Moses’s street preaching method includes him paying visits to shopping centres and hospitals to seek out people in need of encouragement or uplifting messages from the Lord.

“As I looked through the pages of Kempton Express, God showed me a journalist’s name, so I may bring my message to you,” he said.

Moses has featured in multiple newspaper publications, such as Benoni City Times, Nelspruit Post and the South Coast Herald.

With a look of peace in his eyes, he said: “It’s so beautiful to see how God provides me with everything I need.”
