Tembisa Hospital rewards its staff members

There was laughter galore as comedian Mashabela was the MC at the event.

Tembisa Hospital hosted its year-end celebrations and CEO’s awards ceremony for its staff members and retirees at the hospital’s sports field on December 12.

There was laughter galore as comedian Mashabela was the MC at the event. Alongside him were Idols SA contestants Karabo and Nolo, as well as Sefako from Joyous Celebrations.

“On this day we wanted to continue showing our staff members that their dedication and work does not go unrecognised. We applaud those who keep the code of conduct in mind and never break the law,

“We also reward retirees to say thank you for the services you have offered us as a hospital, as well as our medical interns,” said Tembisa Hospital CEO Dr Lekopane Mogaladi.

In his speech he also touched on the matters of gender-based violence and the commemoration of World Aids Day.

Noluthando Mdhluli, Tembisa Hospital communications manager, said awards were also presented to various departments.

“The good thing about the event is that we also managed to find time to commemorate World Aids Day when the wellness team took the stand and lit candles and raised awareness and encouraged the audience to continue knowing their status. There were also competitions and Woolworths vouchers were given away,” concluded Mdhluli.
