Middle-aged man killed in accident on the R25
The metro police were on the scene for further investigations.
A man believed to be in his late 50s has died and two others were injured when they lost control and rolled their vehicle on the R25 outside Bapsfontein on Saturday night.
According to Ross Campbell, ER24 spokesperson, the fire department was already on the scene when ER24 paramedics arrived at 10.45pm. They found the driver lying 20 metres from the light motor vehicle, having been ejected.
He had suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
A 32-year-old man had suffered moderate to serious injuries and was treated and transported to a private hospital for further care. A third man was found to have suffered minor injuries and declined transportation to hospital, said Campbell.
