Aston Manor Primary School (AMPS) is a public ordinary school with almost 54 years of experience in teaching. We pride ourselves on professional and experienced staff as well as “Tried and Tested” teaching methods, in the classroom, on the stage and on the sports field – Our Motto is ‘Scientia est Virtus’ (Knowledge is Power)

The school employs professional qualified teaching staff with years of experience as well as a full time Librarian, Head of Sports, ICT Administrator, Guidance Counsellor, Head of Music & Culture and Facilities Manager, all under the management and leadership of the school principal Mr. W Botha.

AMPS is a strong contender in various sports which includes athletics, rugby, cricket, hockey, netball, swimming, and chess. AMPS also offers cultural activities such as Eisteddfod, Marimbas, junior- and senior choirs. In addition, we offer hockey, cricket, rugby and swimming academies on Friday afternoons.

The Grade RR & R facility is fondly named “Goosey” and is represented by a Mother Goose looking after her children 🙂 The Grade RR & R facility has newly renovated bathrooms as well as artificial grass play areas and Jungle Gyms for the learners. After school hours the area becomes an Aftercare Facility for parents who need assistance in the afternoons.
