Thembisa CIT: Two vehicles, one firearm recovered
The vehicles and firearm recovered by the EMPD were used in this morning's cash-in-transit robbery. No further arrests have been made.

Two of the vehicles used in this morning’s cash-in-transit robbery in Thembisa have been recovered.
After the robbery a chase ensued to apprehend the suspect involved.

One of the vehicles was found in the garage of a house on Ghana Street, Welamlabo in Thembisa.

The other vehicle was found abandoned on the side of a nearby road.

Inside one of the vehicle, officers found a Glock 9mm pistol with ammunition and one magazine.

No further arrests have been made and officers are still actively searching for the suspects.
