Entries are still open

There is still one more heat round left, so hurry up and enter!

The Klipdrift looklocal Idols 2013 has been heating up the stage at Ambrozio’s and entries are still open.

This competition is nationwide and offers anyone of 18 years and older the opportunity to win a record deal with Big Boy Records and R15 000 cash.

The competition will see local aspiring singers from all over South Africa perform three times at their closest venue as part of the selection process. Singers will be scored each time they perform, and those with the highest collective scores by the end of August will make it through to the national semifinals at Silverstar Casino (part of the Tsogo Sun group).

Competitors can enter the competition via the Klipdrift looklocal Idols website www.klipdriftidols.co.za or at Ambrozio situated at the Anthos Shopping Centre just off Voortrekker Road, Krugersdorp.

Updates on the competition, scores, judges, participating venues and entry forms also can be found on the website.

Further information on heat rounds can be obtained from Tony Kipper on 079 197 3402.

There is no entry fee and competitors can enter any genre of music. Families are invited to support their loved ones, and various in-house prizes will be awarded to competitors at each heat round.

Ambrozio will host one more heat round on 3 July, with semifinals on 10 July and finals on 17 July.

Performers start at 8pm and the top three performers from the finals will go through to the national semifinals, and will be taken on a week’s development programme with professional producers from Reinhardt Massyn Productions between 8 and 13 September, after which they will perform at the final extravaganza on 17 September.
