Krugersdorp — Lebo More, a Democratic Alliance councillor in Mogale City, has been inaugurated as a DA MPL at the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
Lebo served the communities of Munsieville and Tarlton as a PR Councillor with great distinction for more than seven years. He served on several portfolios on the local council including Corporate Support Services, the Local Labour Forum and the Ethics Committee.
Lebo occupies the position of MPL after the passing of Dr Gavin Lewis who represented the DA on the Legislature for four years.
Besides being recognised locally for breaking new ground for the DA in Munsieville, where he increased the DA vote and had a hand in increasing the number of DA councillors, Lebo is highly regarded throughout Africa among its youth and has held the position of President of the Organisation of African Liberal Youth since 2011.
His DA colleagues in Mogale City wish him success in his new position.
