A two-day power outage will be experienced in the Muldersdrift area from 1 to 3 October.
Mogale City Local Municipality’s technical team will be fixing the Libertas line, which also will affect power supply to Pinehaven, Ruimsig, Diswilmar, and up to the new Cradlestone Mall from 8am until 4pm.
A crane will be used to fix the line, so part of the R28 will be closed to traffic.
The municipality apologises for any inconvenience cause, but says that it is necessary owing to the growing demand for energy in the Muldersdrift and surrounding areas.
The team will monitor the work and if necessary, it will continue into 4 October.
