Moria resident believes ACDP can make a difference

A Moria Old Age Home resident says that the ACDP is the only hope this country has and therefore he is recruiting voters for this party.

Henry Dunn, a retired music teacher and a resident of the Moria Old Age Home in Krugersdorp is spending his time recruiting voters for the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) saying that this party indeed can bring change.

“I always have voted for another party, but realised that they are not there for the people. I therefore got hold of a representative of the ACDP, had a discussion with them and realised that they want to change South Africa in a Godly manner as I am a man of God.” He invited Dr Joseph Katwala Meddy, the ACDP West Rand Regional Chairperson and Gladys Modise, the Provincial Election Manager and Church Liaison Officer to meet with him and his friend Rita Joubert at the old age home to talk about the future.

Dunn says that he became a born-again Christian about 30 years ago and for that reason he sees the need for a party that can bring the values of God back into the lives of people.

“We have been free since 1994 and we should remain free because Jesus died for all of us, regardless of who we are.”

He says that the ACDP’s policy is that of integrity, justice, honesty and respect.

“This party stands for the principles for peace and reconciliation. To have this, one needs to honour Christ and include him in your lives.

“This will be my first time voting for the ACDP and I believe that God will help this party in the upcoming elections as they are the only hope left for our country.”

Dr Meddy says that it was a pleasure for him and his colleague to pay Dunn and his friend a visit.
