Residents to check property valuation roll
Ensure that your property is valued correctly so that the rates and taxes you pay are not excessive.

Residents of Mogale City may view their property valuation on the Mogale City municipal website www.mogalecity.gov.za by clicking on Valuations and following steps from there.
The General Valuation Roll, for the period of 2014 to 2018, currently is open for inspection, objections and appeals.
Any resident who wishes to lodge an appeal against the valuation of his/ her property should do so in writing. Forms are available on the website or from the Valuations Department at the corner of Ockerse and Monument Streets, Krugersdorp.
The period to appeal or lodge an objection concludes on 17 April.
The rates and taxes for the new financial year will be levied from 1 July 2014 based on the new valuation of your property. It is important to know that your valuation is realistic and is based on the market value of the property – which includes the value of the land and of the development.
