Three killed as car crashes into tree

Three men were killed when their BMW crashed into a tree on the K13 in Kagiso on Thursday night 25 September.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann confirmed that the lives of three were lost and that another man was injured critically.

“Paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the severely crumpled remains of the vehicle,” said Steinmann.

“Upon assessment it was found that three men had died prior to their arrival.

A fourth man was found in a critical condition after being ejected from the vehicle.” He was airlifted to hospital.

The cause of the accident is not clear.
