Load shedding in full swing this weekend
Residents are being urged to use water sparingly during this time.
Krugersdorp residents have taken to social media platforms to show their dissatisfaction with Eskom’s load shedding plans after being without power since the early hours of this morning.
In turn businesses who can utilise their generators for power used the opportunity to invite prospective customers to enjoy breakfast and a cup of coffee at their restaurants.
In a press statement released by Eskom the power utility said they will be implementing rational load shedding in stage 2 over the weekend in a bid to augment its water and diesel reserves for the week ahead.
Residents from Mogale City are therefore requested to use water sparingly during this time.
Mogale City Local Municipality confirms the load shedding on their website but no load shedding schedule can be found.
