The news was very excited when the local African National Congress informed them about the assessment networking session on their performance and functionality. The press statement only showed the date, but no mention of either time or venue was made.
Sadly the news was left disappointed as numerous phone calls to the ANC West Rand Communication Unit to obtain the required information to be able to attend the session went unanswered.
Requests for information regarding the outcome of the assessment sessions to report back to the community also were ignored.
The PA of the Communication Officer of the ANC referred the news to the local municipal spokesperson.
Several calls to the Mogale City Local Municipality as well as the ANC also were fruitless.
