Eskom implemented stage 2 load shedding from noon this afternoon, but whether Mogale City will experience a blackout is still unclear.
The latest Eskom load shedding schedule on their website indicates that the city won’t be experiencing any load shedding.
To clear up the confusion Nkosana Zali, municipal spokesperson said that they too are left in the dark.
“The only details we have are the details that Eskom has on their website. As long as they don’t have any time schedules available there is nothing we can tell residents.”
He said if the time schedule are not giving a time frame, it must be an indication that the city won’t be experiencing any load shedding.
“As soon as the situation changes they will be the ones to advise us. We will have a statement on our website about load shedding in our area later today,” he concluded.
