Although Eskom allegedly will not be load shedding today, Mogale City Local Municipality would like to inform residents that they too are left in the dark by the power utility.
A statement on the municipality’s website reads that they would like to advise residents that load shedding as an Eskom-driven process.
“It is therefore difficult for Mogale City to predict any load shedding and we can only provide information available to us from the power utility.”
The municipality urges all residents to assist in reducing electricity demand by turning off all non-essential equipment at all times.
