Every now and again the news stumbles upon some good work being done in the community.
This time Mogale City Local Municipality deserves some credit.
After power substations were becoming an eyesore because they were vandalised with graffiti, the news was pleasantly surprised when driving through town and noticing the neatly painted substations.
Whats more, the news noticed that during one of the heavy thunderstorms this past week, a Mogale City truck was seen, late at night, switching the power back on after a lightning strike.
Readers have also sent their compliments to the news about the neatly cut grass en trimmed islands in town.
It has also come to the news’s attention how few potholes the town has in comparison to areas such as Roodepoort and Randfontein.
Do you wonder that some of the work of the municipality goes unnoticed?
