Enter this not-the-usual pageant
If you are a regular pageant entrant who purely strives to winning a title, then this competition is not for you.
Are you a typical shy teenager hiding an incredible talent? Perhaps you are an awkwardly tall and slender boy or girl who chooses to stay in the limelight? Maybe you really can sing and it is time to hang up your shower head?
If you fit any of these descriptions, then listen up. Figures Models Krugersdorp and President Hyper (Krugersdorp, Fochville and Vanderbijlpark) are presenting a talent search competition like no other and they want you to enter.
The competition, aptly named Mr and Miss President Hyper, is not your average beauty pageant. It is a youth-developing talent competition that will focus on helping youngsters from the ages of 13 to 23 develop their unique talents.
From today you can make your way to President Hyper to enter this unique competition. There will be loads of prizes up for grabs, and if you are a model and you really impress the judges, you could also win a spot at the Figures International Model of the Year Final where you stand a chance to win an all expenses paid trip to New Year to attend the International Model and Talent Association Convention.
How does the competition work? There are three categories to enter:
– Boys and girls will enter into their respective age groups (3-6 years, 7-12 years and 13-23 years) in the singing, model, dancing and acting categories.
– On 23 May at 11am all the entrants will be judged and finalists will be chosen to go through to the final event at President Hyper in Vanderbijlpark on 30 May.
– The finalists chosen also will take part in a workshop to prepare them for the main event.
– R100 entry fee gets you in
– Judges are looking for naturally beautiful and talented young people who can become an ambassador for youth development. If you are a regular pageant entrant who purely strives to winning a title, then this competition is not for you.
