Are you affected by water shedding?

It is the second water cut for some parts of Krugersdorp in less than a week.

Furious residents want answers after a second water cut in less than a week.

The News received word from various residents and business owners in the Mindalore and Breaunanda areas affected by the water cut.

Among the businesses are restaurants, a day care, a guesthouse and hundreds of households which have been affected by the water cut.

Angry residents have taken to the Krugersdorp Network Community page on Facebook where the situation has been confirmed.

It has been noted that residents were without water since early this morning as the News was flooded with complaints since 8am.

The News contacted Rand Water which confirmed that the water tower is operational and the pressure is 100 percent, thus the problem should be from the municipality’s side.

The News tried to contact the spokesperson Nkosana Zali to shed some light regarding the water cut, but he was not available at the time.

However, another representative confirmed that Mogale City is aware of the problem and is currently investigating the matter.

It is still unknown when residents can expect the water to be switched back on.

Listen to the comment from both Rand Water and Mogale City regarding the water cut.
