Raided brothel house cleaned-up

Owners speak out after squatting tenants turn their property into a brothel.

It is believed that the five sex workers, who rented a house and disguised it as a car wash business, along with one of their ‘client’s’ were released on bail hours after they were busted for running an alleged brothel from the house.

When police stopped and searched a suspect earlier last month, they found a pamphlet in his possession, reading “Let me get your motor running” and an address. Police decided to investigate and planned a raid. On Friday 6 November at around 8pm, police, the K9 unit and CPF Sector 8 members raided the car wash on Carol Street where they found evidence of prostitution and drugs.

The following day, the man who rented the house returned to the property where he broke into the yard and assaulted the security guard who was placed there by the owners.

For months on end the owners struggled to get rent money from the couple who used their house to run their alleged brothel from.

Out of desperation the owners approached the police for assistance as they suspected illegal activity taking place on the premises.

After the bust, the owners quickly made work of the opportunity and finally evicted the tenants who have been squatting there for months.

The owners claim they have opened a case against the couple who rented the property from them.

The News found complaints against the couple on the complaints forum website Hellopeter.com, of alleged breach of contract of their so-called business.

The owners wish to warn other homeowners against this couple who has been making the rounds in Krugersdorp with their car wash and rental business. They would also like to thank the police and CPF who assisted in raiding the house which enabled them to claim back their property.
