Sexual favours with an agenda
An alleged sex worker and her friend caught this victim by surprise.
A female believed to be a sex worker was arrested last week after robbing a potential client with the help of her pimp.
The complainant alleges that he was robbed by the 28-year-old female and her friend on 7 January at around 2am in Luipaard Street.
“It is alleged he was walking when he was propositioned by the woman on the street. She offered him sexual favours to which he agreed. It is further alleged they went to where the woman is supposedly staying. He was waiting for the woman to come back when an unknown male came to the room and accused him of trespassing,” Krugersdorp police spokesperson, Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale explained.
The woman along with her friend then allegedly threatened the complainant before robbing him of his cell phone, ID document and cash.
The suspect was later arrested and detained at Krugersdorp cells is due to appear in court soon facing common robbery charges.
“Police would like to advice the community to avoid being at places that attract criminal activities,” Mashale concluded.
